The Adult HERMES Project will continue for several years and includes the development of different educational products geared for training in Adult Respiratory Medicine. It has been divided into several clearly defined phases. Each phase has its specific objective.

The HERMES Booklet

The HERMES Booklet of European Standards for Training in Adult Respiratory  Medicine: Syllabus, Curriculum and Diploma is now available. This unique reference brings together all the consensus-based documents produced by the Adult HERMES project altogether in one volume in an easily accessible format. This educational publication from the ERS School should have an essential place on the bookshelves of all those involved in the specialty whether they be practitioners, educators, trainees, programme directors, curriculum developers, providers or policy makers. The ERS congratulates the succesful candidates of the 2009 European Examination in Adult Respiratory Medicine held last September 12, 2009 in Vienna, Austria.
