Paediatric HERMES

In November 2006, a preliminary survey was done among the Paediatric Assembly to determine the current status of the ERS Paediatric syllabus published in 2002. In this survey, data on which countries are actually making use of the syllabus were collated. It was found out that the existing syllabus needed an update. Thus, the Paediatric HERMES Task Force was formed and approved last September 2007.

Objectives of the Task Force

  • Provide accurate data to determine how useful the introduction of the first version of the training syllabus in PRM has been to those actually working on a national level
  • Provide accurate data on how many countries are actually making use of the syllabus
